I have seen lots of crayon art on Pinterest. I've always loved it, and wanted to try it. I just didn't know how I wanted to do it. Well, I finally decided.

This was my finished product. First I wrote the lyrics to my favorite love song, Out of my League by Stephen Speaks, on the poster board. Then I hot glued the crayons on in a heart shape and blow dried them until I was happy with their melting patterns. It turned out beautifully. (:

When you're having a bad day, the way to cure it is with a good friend, sugar, chick flicks, and Ryan Reynolds. (: That was what Kenzie and I did on Saturday. Went for dinner, got milkshakes, did a little shopping, made tye-dye cupcakes, took pictures, and watched The Proposal. We had so much fun(:

Not only are our cupcakes delicious, but they are absolutely beautiful. And that's what really matters (:

MIA?

Yeah, I know. It's been awhile. I usually blog a lot more than this. But here's the reason. My laptop crashed because of a virus. I'm crushed. I lost all my documents, music, pictures, programs.... everything. Lots of crying was involved. At this point, I'm over the losing of everything and mostly just frustrated it's still not working. We've tried just about everything. I'm going to have to take it somewhere to get fixed. It's killing me not to have it. Highlight of my month for sure.....

The one thing I didn't mention in my preference post... Ha ha. While we were in a hurry to leave to go to our picture appointment, Jena was quickly backing out, but forgot to check behind her first. She ended up crashing straight into my car. It was horrible... There's a nice big dent with scratches along the side of it, and her bumper is dented too. She was crying and we were trying to tell her that it was going to be ok, but it's pretty bad. Poor thing, I felt horrible. We still have to get it all figured out, but I seriously hope it's not too bad for her sake. We'll look back on this next year and laugh about it, I'm sure.(:

Preference 2011!

I had an absolutely amazing time at Preference this year. It was an entirely too perfect day!(: Our group was just Brayden and I, and Jena and Colton. At first I was sad that Baylee wasn't going with me, she had a military ball the same day, since I've never been to a dance without her. But, in the end, we loved having a small group!(: Only had to take one car, and very little coordination was involved. Ha ha. (:

For our day date, we went ice skating! I drove, and after taking an hour detour trying to find Jena's house (my GPS took me 28 minutes away.... and she lives in Syracuse...) I went and picked up Brayden first, and he helped me get there. (: I'm just directionally challenged! After getting Colton, we headed to the Ogden ice sheet. It was so much fun! (: I'm not an ice skater, and at first everybody else had to help me just to stay up, but by the end I started to get the hang of it. It was way fun. (: I even only fell once! (:

Afterwards, we went to Starbucks! Big yummy chocolate chip cookies, hot chocolate, and a chocolate chip frappuccino(: Yum(:

Then we went home to get ready!

I was kind of behind on time, I just can't get ready fast enough! But, after being a little bit late, even though Colton and Jena tried to go pick my date up without me :), it all turned out great. Made it home, and headed out the door! Went to pick up Brayden! His whole family was there, and I was nervous, but they were all so sweet!(: He has a very dollish family(: I struggled to put on the boutonniere, but with Brianna's help, I got it eventually(: Took a couple pictures, then went to actually get out pictures taken!

That was fun, we like pictures. (: Although.... Ha ha. I thought it'd be really cute if for one picture, I picked Brayden up! The boy picks the girl up usually, so I thought it'd be cute and different, especially for a girls choice dance! Well, we decided to try it out while we were waiting for Jena and Colton to finish up..... and well.... I ended up totally dropping him and he fell right on top of me. Whoops...(: It was pretty funny(: I'm just weak(: I can't wait to see our pictures(:(:

Then we went to Olive Garden for dinner! We had reservations, but we were almost thirty minutes late. Everybody was there for preference, and we thought we'd have to go somewhere else, but they were nice enough to give them to us anyways. Thank heavens! It was delicious(:

Then off we went to the dance, where we partied all night(: These boys make me laugh, I just love them(: Crazy kids(: We had a blast. It was perfect(:

Then we came back to my house to have snacks and watch a movie. Love watching movies with Brayden(: (: (:

Anyways, it was a perfect night and I'll remember it forever(:

Preference!

I asked Brayden to preference this year(: Trying to figure out a way to ask him was very difficult, because he was so creative when he asked me to homecoming.

I knew I wanted to surprise him, and eventually I figured out a way!

Basically, I made a "chemistry worksheet," because we have the same chemistry teacher, and then I gave it to her to give to him as an assignment. She did, and must have done a pretty good job (: I love Mrs. Gunty(:

Well basically, it was just matching spaces to letters from the periodic table, and it ended up spelling, "Since we have so much chemistry, will you go to Preference with me?" And then had my name(:

He said he had no idea, so I was really happy with how it turned out(:

Basketball Game

I went to Whitnie's basketball game this week. And it was pretty sad. Her whole team is basically made up of cute little girls from our ward, and they just try so hard, but still lose by 20-30 points. So far anyways. I'm hoping they win a game or two during the season! You just feel bad for them! But they keep trying, and they're so fun to watch.

End of Term Break!

We got two days off of school for end of term! It was so very much enjoyed. I love little breaks from the stress of assignments, tests, and grades. It's nice to have absolutely nothing to worry about every once in awhile, and just have fun! Pictures from the break:

Saturday was a very good day. (: Brady and I went for lunch at Applebee's, got ice cream, and then met up with Brayden. We played a few games of Uno, which I won none of... :), and then went to see Sherlock Holmes. We had a lot of fun at the movie. (:

Afterwards, I dropped Brady off at home, and then was saying goodnight to Brayden for a little bit. Well, he told me he had something to give me and he pulled out this:

This absolutely gorgeous necklace! Ahhhhh! Isn't it beautiful?! I absolutely love love love it! (: Oh he is just the sweetest! It even has a real little black diamond in the middle. (: He is so amazing. I just feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

I am going to do this and then at the end of the year, make a book out of them.

It'll be perfect.

I don't think there's any better of a way to document time then through pictures.

Junior Year - Take Two

Wow. Second term is over already?! This year is flying by! I don't even know what to do with myself!

How am I halfway done with high school?! Please slow down. I don't want to grow up!

What a crazy, stressful, amazing term it's been.

I'm proud to say I got another 4.0! 14th in a row. My high school cumulative GPA is still a 4.0! 14 down...... 6 to go. This has been such a huge goal for me, and I'm praying I'll be able to do it.

Pre-Calculus is still killing me. So hard and frustrating. But I'm making it through.

I'm going to so extremely miss Travel and Tourism. One of my very favorite classes ever. It was just so fun. And I'm also going to miss Foods. Loved getting breakfast first period every day, even when it was Hawaiian Haystacks. (: Glad I had the experience of taking these classes. Memories forever.

However, I'm also very excited about my new classes! Yoga should be really fun. (: An easy PE credit that I'm actually going to like! It will be nice to have relaxation time in the middle of the day! I'm also entirely thrilled about Interior Design 2! I LOVED interior design last year, and doing it for college credit will be perfect. I just love my teacher and I can't wait to get back into it. So incredible! (:

Things with friends are perfect right now. High school is bliss. I wish it wasn't flying by so fast. I am treasuring all the time I have.

This has been a stressful year, but it's ok. I'm learning.

Can't wait to see what Semester 2 will bring. (:

Phone Pictures.

When I don't have a camera with me, I have no choice but to document moments with my phone. It was about time to go through them and clean up my storage. So. Here are my camera phone memories.

Oh mirror pictures.

Baylee and I started a sort of initiation at work. We mix all 70+ flavors together in one ice cream and you have to take one bite. It turns black, and I can't even describe how horrible it is. It's called "Suicide." Bay and I were the first to do it. The flavor takes forever to leave your mouth. I love my job! Took a picture of Lis's reaction when she did it.

Fun times in Travel and Tourism, my favorite class ever. We made a poster of "Foreign Places We Want to See!" Jeffrey drew this lovely picture of Hogwarts. Of course Hogwarts had to be included!

And then there's French class. Where we could work on our packets, but instead, my friends and I choose to things like draw as many stars on the paper as possible and play with play dough.

Making gold pennies in chemistry! (: Baylee and I are scientists, especially since we're so pro with liquid nitrogen. Nitrogen is like our BFF.

Yeah. They make pregnant Barbies now. That is messed up! The belly is magnetic, and you can pull it off and there is a baby inside. The things they come up with for children these days...

Brady and I were going through her journals and we found this one from when she was little. Her parents wrote it for her, but we found it pretty funny. ~~Julie's~~ Brady's Journey Journal. Hahaha.

And shopping for after Christmas deals with Bay. (: It's fun to get in trouble by the Aeropostale worker just because I was wearing all Hollister. "What do you work for Hollister or something? Because we're frenemies with that store." Yeah... we had to leave.

Girls Night!

Had a girls night last night with some of the girls in my ward, Kendra, Kenzie, Courtney, and Heather! It's fun because I can say I hung out with a freshman, a sophomore, a junior, and a senior! (: I love these girls and we had so much fun. First we went for dinner at Dragon Hill! Oh heavens they give you a lot of food, but it's amazing!

Then we went back to Courtney's house to make a tye dye cake Court and I found on Pinterest, my favorite website in the world!

Well, after we made the cake batter, we realized we didn't have any food coloring. So we went over to Lisa's to borrow some and ended up chilling at her house for awhile! We miss her in Young Womens.

Spa Day

For a YW's fundraiser for Girl's Camp this year, we had a services auction. I auctioned off doing a spa day for some little girls! Did that over Christmas break and we had a lot of fun. Manicures, pedicures, facials, hair, and then a photoshoot; not to mention yummy treats like fruit smoothies and cookies!

Sleepover.

The Best of 2011

This "Best of" post is kind of like a tradition now. (: This is the third year I've done it! I love to look back on the year and remember some of my most memorable times! It's hard for me to believe 2011 is over already, but if I've learned anything this year, it's that the one thing you can't stop is time.

I'm going to this post a little differently this year! I think it will be easier to pick out the one or two best things per month, instead of 10 things overall. This way I won't forget anything.

January: The New Years Eve Dance! This was just absolutely so much fun. One of the most fun dances I've been to. (:

February: Got my beautiful Young Women's medallion (: So proud of that accomplishment. It taught me so much.

March: Taking care of Sophie for the weekend (: So much fun!

April: Met Michelle Money!!! I loved her on The Bachelor and it was just so cool to actually meet her! (:

May: Went to see Wicked! It was definitely an adventure. (: I loved it!

Also, got my pictures taken by Mikayla. Some of my favorite pictures ever!

June: A lot of things happened this month! It was hard to choose! But I ended up going with, first, my last piano recital with Julie! I miss her a lot.

Also, finished my sophomore year!!

July: Definitely my most eventful month this year!! It was so much fun, I absolutely loved it (:
First, competed in the Miss Davis County Outstanding Teen Pageant! Took first attendant (:

Next, turned 16! Got my license! (: 16 is a good age to be, I'm loving it.

Last, got to visit my best friend Erin in California! Surprise birthday flight from my parents (:

August: Love my busy busy summers!

Judged a baby/kids pageant - Couldn't have been more fun! Great experience (:

Started my Junior year of High School!! CRAZY.

And of course? Girls Camp.

September: Young Women's leaders got released, which was pretty hard for me.

October: Another month full of happenings!!!

First, the Taylor Swift concert I went to with McKenzie! Incredible opportunity!! (:

Next, got my job at Sub Zero Ice Cream, which I just love (:

And lastly? Homecoming! With Brayden (: Perfect night, amazing memories (:

Neighbor Gifts

Thank you Pinterest. Got the idea to do brownie/strawberry Santa hats for our neighbor gifts this year. My family made the brownies and then I was in charge of making them cute. It was a seven hour project for me, but I had so much fun (:

Note: Please don't judge me, I'd just gotten out of the shower. That's why my appearance is so scary.

I think they turned out pretty cute (: I was proud of them!

Plus, this "frosting" is my favorite. I hate frosting, so we did cream cheese, cool whip, and sugar blended together. Delicious.

2012 Resolutions!

My new resolutions for 2012:
- I am going to get my Honor Bee in Young Womens.
- Continue to get straight 4.0's (This keeps getting more challenging.... Hoping I can do it.)
- Get at least a 30 on my ACT Test. (The first time I got a 27, going to try to do better.)
- Start applying for scholarships
- Get in shape. Maybe go to the gym or something! Heavens, I just need to work out.
- Get better at the guitar, I really love it and want to improve!
- Become more crafty. I want to be able to be creative and make cute things! I need to implement a craft night every once in awhile or something.

Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.

Resolution Check

I made some resolutions last year for 2011. Did I actually accomplish them??

- "Finish personal progress. I have 2 values left and I'm going to finish soon. Then I'll start working on my honor bee." Yes! I got my Medallion and I've kind of started working on my Honor Bee. I need to do better though!

- "Get straight 4.0's. Hopefully." Yep (:

- "Make new friends. I love making new friends!" I have made lots of new friends! Grateful for all of them!

- "Make more of an effort to keep my room looking nice. It shouldn't be hard to clean it if I do it every day." Well..... this goal really didn't get accomplished.... It's hard to find time...

- "Try to be more aware of other people and their needs and help them if I can." Hoping that I have! I've made an effort!

- "Give more compliments! I love making people smile." I definitely try. Even if people don't always appreciate them, I like to find something nice to say to everyone. This has been a fun goal to work on!

- "Read. I just plain and simply need to read more often." I have half accomplished this goal. I have been reading, but still not as much as I could be. It's hard, especially now that I have a job, to read anything but the books I'm assigned to read in school. I'll keep working on it!

I like to look at my progress on goals. Hope your resolutions went well this year!

Christmas Miracles

I love the spirit of Christmas and getting to see amazing things happen, that really are just miracles.

I am just writing these down so I can remember them and how truly blessed we are, not even just around Christmas, but all the time.

We can really find little miracles in a lot of things if we just look.

As a family, we had two little miracles happen for us. Just cool experiences that I want to remember.

First of all, I have a friend who's Dad lost his job in August. He still hasn't been able to find a new one and we knew the Christmas season wasn't going to be easy on them. My mom thought it'd be nice if we took to out for dinner. Well, they have six people in their family as well as we do. Dinner for 12 can get pretty expensive, so she was trying to think of a way we could make it less expensive. She ended up thinking that we could just get Dragon Hill, and all share some of the food trays. However, when she told them about her plan, she just decided to say we would take them to Olive Garden. She didn't really know what made her decide that, but she just did. She told us we needed to order water and that we'd have to share entrees, since Olive Garden is a pretty expensive resturant. Well, my Dad met us there and it turned out he had gotten a 50 dollar gift card to Olive Garden earlier that day. It paid for about a third of the meal, and we just felt so blessed. My mom didn't know about the gift card when she chose the resturant, and we were just so thankful that blessings come when you are trying to serve others,

The other one was when we were at church on Christmas, the Bishop announced that a family had told him they had a washer and dryer that they were willing to give to anyone who needed it. When we got home that day, we discovered that our dryer was broken. The timing was incredible and we were able to get a new dryer from a neighbor.

Things like this don't happen all the time, and I know my family was blessed this Christmas season.

Christmas 2011!

We had a really good Christmas this year. (: One of my favorite ever (: It just felt special (: We went down to my Grandma's house on Christmas Eve like always, but since I was going to be a little late, I got to drive myself and Isaac down so that they didn't have to wait for me. I have never driven all the way to Provo before, so that was fun. (: I performed guitar and sang Silent Night, which went pretty well. I wasn't as nervous this time as I was at church! Since we were late, Isaac and I were only there about half an hour before heading home! Three hour drive round trip for half an hour of actually being there. It was fantastic. Haha.

Also, my Grandpa loves this piano trio called Triple Dip. My cousins and I have learned it and all know a couple of the parts, so occassionally we pull it out and play it. This year played it with my mom and Amy. Love this song. (:

Really, the fact that Christmas is already over hasn't totally hit me yet. I really haven't felt in the Christmas spirit, just because it came so fast. It's crazy. Ah.

Well, last Christmas I got a Nikon Coolpix P500. Definitely wasn't a fan. Didn't like the camera or the picture quality. We took it back and were looking to get a different one but just never got around to it. So this year, we decided to try again and I ended up getting a D3000 for Christmas! So far I've liked it a lot better and I'm really hoping it turns out to be a good camera for me. I was really excited to get it!!! (:

I realize that this is basically the most cliche picture ever and everybody does it, but there's not a lot to take pictures of in your room at 10:30pm.

I also got a pretty half lace dress, some jewlery, CD's, gift card, lotion, Kinect games, and other little things like that.

I was so surprised and completely excited to get my beautiful necklace I found on Pinterest, but never dreamed of actually having:

My family had a really fun day.

Isaac ended up getting his "Giraffe" that he has wanted for a while! It's a five foot tall unicycle, and he's actually getting pretty good at it.

Spending the whole day together always gets a little crazy in my family.

Or maybe that's just Isaac. (:

Levi had a pretty fantastic day too; He got chocolate coal. Mostly though, he spent his day carrying around his blanket that he loves more than life.

Temple Square

I went on a date with Brayden to Temple Square to see the lights! It was such an incredible night (: (: Brady and Justin came with us as well, and we just had so much fun! Salt Lake is so beautiful during December, even if it's a little cold and windy... (: It's so incredible! It was an entirely perfect night. (:

Christmas Season!

Christmas has come SO fast for me this year. Wasn't Halloween like yesterday? Like, seriously? What in the world happened to November!? Ahhhh! Well. Seeing as it didn't feel like Christmas at all, it's been great to do some things to put me in the Christmas spirit!

1) Went to see The Forgotten Carols! Not my family's favorite, but they do have some incredible music. It was a lot of fun!

2) Went with the Butler family to see the Voice Male concert! Those guys are so so so talented. Not to mention hysterical! We just laughed and laughed the whole time! Loved going (:

3) Christmas shopping!! I LOVE going shopping for presents for all of my friends! It's basically my favorite part of Christmas!!! So far they've all loved what I got for them, and I only have a little bit more to do! (:

4) I performed in church today a couple of times! I played an arrangement of three different versions of Away in a Manger in sacrament meeting on the piano. It was a beautiful arrangement, and luckily that went pretty well! I wasn't too nervous! Oh but then, I played guitar and sang What Child is This? in young women's! Luckily, Kenzie was kind enough to sing with me, and I think we did ok! Got a lot of compliments from so many sweet people! I just love music.

I just love the Christmas season!

Sadies was a lot of fun this year! First date I've ever had to completely plan out by myself, and it was really a stressful thing! But it was definitely fun (:

The Dance: The dance itself got a little awkward.... But it was still a lot of fun! Love dancing with my crazy friends (: Baylee and I were opposite in our outfits for the dance and our dates were too! I'll post some pictures when I get them back from our photographer! (:

Quick Story: Bay and I wanted to wear tutus to the dance. I ordered them 4 weeks in advance, and they cost us $66. We were so excited though, because they were so cute! Well. Guess what? They didn't come in time. I got them on the Monday after the dance. A little late. I was pretty upset, but that's what Target is for right? Because our whole outfits were based off of the tutus, I had to run to Target to get us little red and white skirts. Bought them in size 10's for little girls. But that's all they had! And we made it work. Moral of the story? If you're ever panicking because you need something specific ASAP, Keep Calm and Go To Target. (:

Black Friday!

I've never gone real Black Friday shopping before because my family doesn't do it. But guess who has a license now?! (: Bay, Aly, and I went at 11:00 on Thursday night to wait in line at the mall. I didn't have any goals in mind, and I didn't need anything so bad, so there was no pressure and it was just a LOT of fun! (:
We went to Hollister first because the whole store was 50% off!!!! I adore Hollister so it was perfect. (: There was this 70 dollar skirt I've been wanting, but wasn't sure if I should buy it for 70 whole dollars! But, got it for 35 (: We also got cute hoodies, jackets, and tank tops. Totally worth the two hour wait in line!

Meeting some Hollister models might have been the highlight of the whole day. Dang (: Ha ha it rocked.

We visitied almost every store in the mall, Kohls, Target, and Rue 21! We had a blast. (:

Don't you love how Baylee is wearing pajamas and I'm like all dressed up? Well, I had just come from Thanksgiving dinner at my Grandmas, and didn't have time to change. So that's how I went. Tights and all. Haha.

Embarassing moment of the day?
Stopped by McDonalds at 3:00am, because we were basically starving and went through the drive thru.
This was how it went.

Lady: "Hi, what can I get for you?"
Me: "I'd like an Oreo McFlury!"
Lady: "Actually, our ice cream machine doesn't turn on until 4 or 5, so I can't make any ice cream products for you."
Me: "Oh ok!! No big deal! Ummm, then I'll just have an ice cream sundae please!"
Lady: "......Our ice cream machine doesn't turn on until 4 or 5....."
Me: "Right... You just said that...."

Oh my heavens. What is wrong with me?! Ha ha. Anyways, lots of fun with my very best friend! We are definitely doing it again next year! (:

YW Medallion Blanket (:

So I got my Personal Progress Medallion in January. Ha ha feels like a long time ago! But in my ward, when you get your Medallion they make you a quilt as a congratulations! Well.... 11 months later, I got mine (: I decided I'd rather have a cute tied blanket instead. I got to pick the fabric and then my YW President tied it for me. It's absolutely darling. It is black, white, and pink on one side, and solid pink on the other. It is really big and super warm. I simply love it! (:

It's perfect for these long winter months in my freezing cold basement room!

Sadies!

Brady, Bay, and I asked three boys to Sadies! We did it together and it was just so much fun! (: We are loving planning everything especially! It is kind of fun to be in charge (:

Baylee asked Jameson! She made a poster saying, "Of all the fish in the sea, I want you to go with me! Sadies??" And then we blew up lots of blue balloons with little pieces of paper with her letters of her name on them inside some of them. Left them all on his porch with swedish fish (: It was very cute (: We had quite the adventure getting to his house! It was like 20 minutes away. We used a GPS and still kinda got lost... Haha.

I asked Zach! I got a cooler and filled it with Mountain Dew cans. There was a note saying, "It'd be "cool" if you'd "Dew" me the favor of going to Sadies with me!" Then I wrote letters of my name on the bottoms of the cans. (: He answered me already too! I came home from work to find this big pizza in my fridge! "Yes" was spelled out in pizza toppings and there was a note saying, "No matter how you slice it, the answer is yes!" I'm excited!

Brady asked Jeremy! She got a giant poster board and we wrote on it the saying, "It's no puzzle! I want to go to Sadies with you!! ♥/Brady"
Then we cut the thing up into over a hundred pieces. (: We put them in a cute little red bucket and decorated it and the porch with peppermints and red and white balloons. (:

We had so much fun. We can't wait for Sadies! (:

Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving, I really do. Not for the food, which I'm personally not too fond of anyways. Not for the time off school, even though that is a fantastic bonus. But really for the spirit behind the holiday. I think there is nothing more worth celebrating than thinking about the many things we are blessed with in our lives. I still dislike how skipped over it gets due to the excitement about Christmas. Yes, I love Christmas, but it seems like Christmas is all about just wanting things, and I love that Thanksgiving is all about being grateful for the things we already have. It's a really great holiday.

I'm so grateful for countless things that I have in my life.

I'm grateful for the people around me. I have the greatest family and friends. I'm so lucky and blessed to have so many incredible people that I know will always be there for me and love me no matter what.

I'm grateful for music. It's always been such a huge part of my life and I don't know what I'd do without it. It's a little escape from the world for a few minutes. It speaks what I don't know how to say. It makes me feel happy.

I'm grateful for my health that allows me to do anything I want to in my life. Health means so much to me and I will never take it for granted.

I'm grateful for a job, a home, and my car.

I'm endlessly grateful for technology.

I'm grateful for laughter and smiling and how they can make my day a little better.

I'm grateful for my education and the blessing I have of going to school. It feels like a trial a lot of the time, but I know I am getting so much out of it, and that it is giving me the basis of a happy future.

I'm grateful for the church and how it has truly blessed my life.

I'm just grateful for so many things.

This Thanksgiving I spent with my family at my Grandma's house eating dinner and spending time with the cousins.

So the other day at work, I got my pay check. I was looking at all the taxes that they had taken out of it and I was just trying to figure out what they all meant. So I saw things like "FICA," "MEDFICA," "UT," and then I got to one called "FED WTH." I started freaking out a little bit. I was thinking to myself, "Fed with?!?! She said we could eat kids size ice creams! That's all I was doing! Was I not supposed to?! She didn't say she'd take money out of my paycheck for that!" ............ Apparently it actually means Federal Withholding.....Not Fed With as in the amount of money's worth of ice cream you ate that they charge you for........ Yeah, totally knew that....

Junior Year - Take One

Term one is over. Finished. Done. Finally.
This year is super a lot stressing me out.
I hate the feeling of growing up and taking responsibility..... Ah!

Well, after a TON of work, and I mean it, I managed to pull another 4.0 (:
I'm actually very proud of myself (:
My lowest grade was in Chemistry with 100.39 % (:
It was hard, but totally worth it.
My 13th in a row! Still keeping my GPA at 4.0, and I hope with my whole heart it stays that way.

My hardest class? Pre-Calculus. I'd rather shoot my own foot off than go to that class. I'm mathmatically challenged and I seem to never understand anything.

My favorite class? Travel and Tourism. (: It's so chill, way easy, lots of fun, exactly what I'm interested in, I have the coolest people in there with me, AND I'm getting college credit. I love it!

So far, I love my junior year. High school is basically the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.
Yes, it is hard. And yes, it can be dramatic. And yes, sometimes I wish I was just done.

But then, I remember how much fun I'm having. And how many amazing people I have in my life. And how many crazy adventures I'm getting to go on. And how many goals and hopes I have for myself.

And then I realize that I never want it to end.

I choose to let all the good overtake the bad. (: Because these are the best years of my life and I'm going to enjoy them. Nothing is going to get in my way!

Sleepover!!!

Baylee's parents went out of town for the weekend, so she asked me if I could sleep over at her house on Saturday night. (: I was so excited! She had to work that night though, so she didn't get to my house to come pick me up until just about midnight! Well, first thing's first, we went to McDonalds, the only dang food place open at this time of night, and got food. The only problem? Bay and I are the two single most indecive people I've ever met. (: We sat there for like 10 minutes trying to decide what we wanted to get and the drive-through lady wanted to kill us. Poor thing. Haha. Afterwards, we stopped at Walmart to get some snacks! We got some soda, Oreos, and then we thought we'd get some ice cream. Well that was the biggest ordeal of my life. (: Remember how I said we're indecisive? It literally took us 30 minutes to choose what flavor of ice cream we wanted. Eventually I made Bay flip a coin because I knew there was no way we were EVER getting out of there if we didn't. Haha she makes me laugh (:

Then we went back to her house and watched The Notebook. Baylee had never seen it before!!! I couldn't believe it. But she sobbed her eyes out and it was definitely the perfect chick flick evening with all our snacks (: By that time it was like 4:30 AM! We both got a little crazy... She'll never let me forget some of the things I said... Such as "I feel like a bridge over the grand canyon!" Oh boy.... (: But we had to talk about boys and have our pillow fight still! Ha ha (:

It was such a fun night! I love this girl to death. Twice. (:

Halloween 2011!

It's way super not fun when you get stuck working all night on Halloween. I missed out on all the trick or treating, the firepits and hot chocolate, seeing all the costumes of the cute kids, and handing out/eating candy! Yeah. Unhappy. However, if I had to work on Halloween, I'm SO glad that it was with my best friend. (: We had to dress up again! This time I decided to try to be a butterfly and she was a bumblebee. (: It was fun! We turned up the music and basically just partied and took pictures whenever anyone wasn't there. (:

Sigh..... Doesn't it just seem like everything bad happens in October? For me, there have just been so many sad, heartbreaking things that go on!

I don't know, it's like Halloween curses it or something. But it's sad. Don't get me wrong, lots of good things happen in October too, and I like the month! I just feel like every year, the hardest month is October.

Sorry for the rant there! Anyways.

Julie is moving...... She leaves for Texas this week. She sold her house and signed the papers on it about two weeks ago. I'm kind of devastated.......

Julie has been my piano teacher since I was 10 years old! That's almost 6 years now! We have had so many good memories together and I've learned an incredible amount for her. I remember when I first started taking from her. I'd already been in lessons for about four years, but I remember her pushing me really hard from the first week. For the first year probably, I came home crying, just so upset by the challenging pieces she wanted me to learn and the high expectations she had for me as a pianist. I only wanted to play the slow, pretty songs, and anything that was supposed to be played quickly just terrified me. I'd look at music and just give up.

Well now, I'm asking Julie if I can do extremely advanced pieces that she wouldn't have ever asked me to do! I've learned the value of hard work from her, and she honestly taught me to believe in myself. I have a littler plaque in my room that she gave me that says, "If you can believe, you can achieve!" She really has just always drilled that into my head, and it's paid off. I live for fast challenging pieces now, the slow ones bore me. I LOVE the feeling of polishing and perfecting a really long hard piece. It's such an accomplishment and you just feel so proud of yourself. I would never have gotten to this point if it wasn't for Julie.

She has taught me so many amazing practicing strategies and she believed in me at those early times I would never believe in myself. She is such an inspiration to me and she is a phenomenal pianist. I hope to be as good as she is one day.

I'm grateful for all the fun times we had at my lessons each week. Talking about our lives, she'd always listen to the frustrations I had, or the fun things I was doing. We almost never stopped laughing, and she really was just such a great friend to me.

She helped me so much with all of my pageants, and helped me to prepare my talent pieces for them. I remember the first one I ever did, being 13, the youngest in the pageant by two years, and being extremely nervous. Julie helped calm my nerves and just made me feel so much better. She offered advice, and even showed up to watch me compete. When I won, she couldn't have been happier for me, but honestly it had a lot to do with her. I never would have tried a difficult piece on my own at that age! Since then, she told me about when she did pageants! I thought it was so great to hear all her stories. She helped me with my pieces to perform my talent around Syracuse that year and in many pageants since.

I can't believe she is leaving.... I don't know what I'm going to do without her. I just love her and look up to her so much. I'll be forever grateful for her, and the things that she taught me. She is one amazing woman.

Halloween Fun!

Halloween is a fun time of year. (: I love autumn, and everything that comes with it! I was so sad to find out I have to work on Halloween night this year! :( It's really not ok with me, but I don't exactly have a choice. Well, I have done a couple fun things to celebrate Halloween this year!

1) At our FCCLA fall activity, we painted pumpkins for a first grade class at a nearby Elementry School. We were each given a name of one of the students to paint one for. I got the name Devynn. I assumed it was a girl because I'd never seen a boy spell his name like that. So let's hope it's a girl because I made the pumpkin kind of girlish. (:

I just painted the whole thing white, painted her name on it, and then did polka dots all over it in red, orange, and yellow. I thought it actually turned out pretty cute! (:

2) At work this week, we were supposed to dress up in our costumes! Well, I woke up this morning, and realized I had like 15 minutes to pull together a costume before I had to leave for work. I had nothing to wear and no plans. So I turn to my trusty little crown collection (: Pageants have once again saved the day!

I ended up deciding to try to be Rapunzel from Tangled! I put on a little purple dress that I have, did my hair in a braid and put flower clips in it! Then I put my crown on so people might be able to figure out what I was. Hahaha, it was interesting but it turned out ok. (:

3) Going to the Pumpkin Walk!

It's so cool to see all the hundreds and hundreds of pumpkins that people carve! I love our Syracuse tradition (: Seriously, some of them were really cool this year. I was very impressed. I had a lot of fun with Brayden, Brady, Justin, and Logan (: (:

Other fun holiday happenings include the Halloween assembly at school, going to corn mazes, scaring Brayden half to death when he was at my house yesterday (haha (: hahaha), and soon- carving pumpkins! (: I hope everybody has a Happy Halloween!!

Project Mole Day.

For Chemistry, we celebrated Mole Day! Pretty much I still have no idea what a Mole is. It has something to do with the number 6.02x10 to the twenty third power. Doesn't really matter.

Point is, we had to do a project in celebration of the holiday dedicated to it! Yay! Well we could draw a picture or make a cake saying Mole Day and Avogadro's number on it, we were just supposed to try to be creative.

Well Baylee and I worked together and we came up with the cutest idea. We did cupcakes that looked like they had little animal moles coming out of the ground! They turned out perfectly and we were pretty impressed with ourselves. (:

We just frosted the cupcakes and then dipped them in crushed Oreos! The mole head are made out of cake pops we made and then the noses and feet we sculpted out of starbursts! We were definitely the most creative in my class. Our teacher even gave us extra credit (:

Atreyu is turning 1 this week!! I can't believe how fast that happened! He came up to my house for a little celebration. (: We just got him some cute little toys. It was so fun to see him (: He's absolutely darling!! What's really sad is that while he was at my Aunt's house, her dog bit him on the face. He had to get an IV and 12 stitches. But he's getting better! So that's always good. (:

Hey Chandlers? This Means War.

Ryan Chandler and I have very differing views when it comes to hunting. I hate it. It makes me so sad to think about innocent little deer enjoying their lives when a man kills them or their family, even though they have no defense. It's just awful. Ryan on the other hand is a big hunter. He's one of those "hang dead animals on the wall because that's attractive decoration" people. He bow and arrow hunts and everything.

We've disputed over it many times. Well, here's what went down. Ryan texted me a picture of a dead deer he's displaying on his wall and told me about how perfectly bow and arrows worked to shoot it. Along with that, he sent a scripture saying something like all animals are ordained for the use of man.

So I figured I'd get him back. I cut out pictures of bambi and labeled them saying things like "I'm so sad because a big scary guy killed my mommy." Or pictures of the devil saying "This is Ryan who is bloodthirsty." Just lots of things like that, and I hung them all over his front porch with an included quote from President McKay about how hunting for sport is evil and that you'll be held accountable for it.

I thought I'd heard the end of that, and had really silenced him until I came out of school to find this on my car:

Apparently Lisa put it on my car yesterday in vinyl and I didn't even notice until after school today!!!

It says, "I eat deer meat!" And then below, "There is a place for all of God's creatures... Right next to the mashed potatoes." Ohhhhh they're in trouble.

That Time We Went to a Corn Maze

Brayden, Logan, Brady and I went to the Black Island Farms Corn Maze on Friday. Oh my. (: It was so much fun! Love spending time with some of my most favorite people (: We managed to make it through all three mazes! Eventually anyways.... It was funny to see the boys try to be the navigators. (: Hahahaha good times.

There was also a corn-box! It's a sand box made out of dried kernals of corn. We played in it throwing corn at each other. Too fun. When I got home, I had corn falling out of my clothes and hair when I went to take a shower. Haha. (:

And we got to pet some pretty cool animals! There were baby goats, chickens, baby cows, rams, and a giant llama! Brayden had Brady and I all freaked out that it would spit at us, but we touched it anyways. (: Turns out it was a very friendly llama (:

We had so much fun! (: It was a great night! (:

New Job.

Last week, I started my new job at Sub Zero Ice Cream!

So far I have really been liking it!

I like my coworkers for the most part, the job itself isn't too hard, and my boss is way cool.

Sub Zero is not your typical ice cream place. At this store, we make the ice cream right in front of you using whatever bases, flavors, and mix-ins you want. We mix it together in a completely liquid state, and then pour liquid nitrogen in (which is negative 360 degress) which instantly freezes the ice cream! It's really cool, but definitely really cold. It's definitely no fun when you spill that stuff on you!

The nitrogen gives off tons of this smoke when you pour it in. It's freezing and fun!

It's so cold, it literally bounces off the floor or your clothes if you spill it.

It's kind of slow to do, so people have to be patient, but it definitely tastes amazing!

I love it.

We are supposed to wear these ugly polos, but because my boss Jamie hates them, she lets us just wear black shirts. (: She's really great and I'm glad I'll be working for her.

My hours aren't too bad either! I'll still have time for school and a social life! (: It's perfect. (:

One bad experience I had on our pre-opening social for friends and family..... One lady came in who was lactose intolerant. She wanted to have a soy milk base instead of the usual requests for premium, custard, or yogart bases we get. The owner of the Centerville Sub Zero was there helping out and he told me I had to shake the soy milk up before using it. However... he failed to mention that with the soy and rice milks, the lids don't stay shut so you have to hold them.... Well since I didn't know that, I just started shaking it, and the milk went flying all over me. It was pretty funny, even though it was embarassing. I had to go to the back to wash my hair out. It was so gross. But I definitely learned my lesson! Won't be doing that again!

I'm glad to have a job! It'll be nice to start making money!!!

Day Date!-

For our day date we went to the park to play games(: First we had to throw lacrosse balls at a pinata to break it. Hahaha all of the girls completely missed it.... But the boys did much better. (: Brayden hit it out of the tree! We won that one (: But then I got to just smack it with the lacrosse stick until it broke(: Haha it was way fun.

Then we had goldfish races! That was one of the most creative activity ideas I've ever heard of. (: I did so bad at it but it was way fun. I had a favorite fish but Jena and Jaden took her. I named her Abcde. (: Pronounced Absidy. But I was still proud of Brayden and I's little fish, even though he was very confused... (:

We also played Frisbee Golf, which because of Brayden, we won again. (: We basically dominated the whole thing (: Haha it was awesome.

Then we wrote poems about and drew pictures of our dates. Oh good times (:

Afterwards, we went to have a barbeque at Logan's house! Brayden was very sweet the whole time, opening all the doors for me and getting my food for me... (: He's amazing. (:

The Dance!-

Lisa did my hair and make-up for the dance, so thank you so much Lisa! (Minus the part where she bled in my hair... Hahaha oh the memories (: It was awesome. (: ) I went to her house to get ready, and then went home to finish putting on my jewlery and things. Only problem was, when I looked at my boutenierre, I realized that I had no clue what to do! I had to call Heidi and have her come over and show me what to do! She made it look really easy, but luckily I learned before Brayden came to pick me up. Hahaha. (: Putting it actually on him was stressful (: But I think I did pretty good! And he got me the most beautiful corsage. (: And he looked amazing!

We went to take group pictures at Jaden's house and then went off to the dance! We had such a great time. (: Seriously, one of the most incredible nights of my life. (:

Afterwards we went over to Brayden's house and just hung out for a little bit before going home!

It went by way too fast! But I loved every single second of it. (: I'll treasure the memories forever. (: (:

Homecoming Game!

Me and Bay went to our homecoming game against Northridge! (: They gave us all balloons to let go of when they first scored a touchdown. (:

This guy was really creepy. He kept sneaking into our pictures... And just being gross and scary. So we left where we were sitting.

We did lose by 3 points, which was disappointing because it was our homecoming game! But it was really a great game to watch and Bay and I had so much fun. (: (:

Taylor Swift!!!!!!

Wednesday was the day Kenzie and I got to go to the Taylor Swift concert. Oh. My. Word. It was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! I've been looking forward to this for months! And it was completely everything I wanted it to be and more! She is my favorite singer. All of her songs like, seriously apply to my life. We had really good seats and everything! It was one of the most amazing nights ever! I was so glad we went!!

We made legit posters! Too bad we didn't get invited to the T-Party! Dang.

During homecoming week, the school does after school activities every day! This year, the first one was street painting! Kenzie and I went and it was actually really fun! I am totally not an artist, but I enjoyed myself anyways. (:

One Very Hard Day.

Today was the day our leaders officially got released. It was really hard. I've just kept crying and I can't figure out how to stop! Soon there will be no more water in my body. These women hold a very special place in my heart. I love them so much and I hope they know that.

Well, to counteract all the sadness, I'm just making a list of some of the memories and good times we've had together:
♥ One of the first activities I did as a beehive was taking a hike up Adam's Canyon. I'm not exactly a hiker, but it was going pretty well! Until... there was a huge rock we had to climb up. So up it I started, going really slow and trying not to fall. Heidi was behind me, and she thought it'd be helping me to kind of push me upwards. She did, and I lost my footing and fell all the way down and hurt my knee. She was so worried that I'd hate her, but really I thought it was so funny. We love to laugh about it now!
♥ Heidi and Lisa getting us lost in our hike at Girls Camp 2010. We went like an extra mile because of their amazing directional skills. (;
♥ How we all freaked out when Heidi was stradling the Bishop on a four wheeler. Ahahahahahaha.
♥ Going to Flowrider for a Mia Maid class activity! Seriously, do we have the coolest leaders or what? Most memorable activity ever. So much fun.
♥ Going to Lisa's house to watch the American Idol Finale. Lady Gaga performed and she made us all close our eyes. Hahaha so inappropriate! (; I've danced like that at every stake dance since. I learn some great things at our activities. (;
♥ Going to do baptisms at the Salt Lake Temple with the beehives. It was such an incredibly spiritual experience and it was just a beautiful day. Planned it with Heidi when I was the beehive class president.
♥ The constant teasing about my hatred of hunting and dead animals. Lisa and some of the other girls told as many stories about dying/killing animals as they could when we drove up to girls camp one year.
♥ Lisa braiding my hair at girls camp this year. Hahaha, she was pulling my hair, yelling at me to stop moving, and it at first ended up with a pony tail coming off of the top of my head. She just laughed and laughed at me. Oh it was so much fun.
♥ Getting hypothermia at Girls Camp. I was so comforted by the fact that Heidi, Linda, Lisa, and Jodi never left my side. I could really feel the love they had for me, and I was so grateful for that. Heidi and Lisa just holding my hands the whole time brought me such peace.
♥ Lisa told us a story in one of her lessons about a tsunami or something that hit an island. The people that were able to ran to high ground. However, the ones that weren't so lucky had to find a way to be safe when the waves hit, so they held on tightly to some trees. This way, they had an anchor to hold them in place while the waves went over them. So then, Lisa askes, "Like these people held onto trees, what can we hold onto in our lives as an anchor during times of trial?" And I answer, apparently not thinking too much, "Well, if it were me, I'd go for a big pine tree or something." Oh my.... I so did not get that question. They all laughed at me. (:
♥ When Heidi was my pageant hostess, I was late to the pageant. She made me laugh when she said it was more important for me to look my best than to be on time. She really was an amazing hostess and she put a lot of time into it! It was fun to spend so much time with her.
♥ When Lisa was my pageant hostess, she did so good at keeping me calm. She was so reassuring and I loved having her there. She also put a lot of time into it and helped me with my hair, make-up, and nails. One of my favorite parts was discussing interview questions. She was very professional and knew everything I should say. "What intimidates you?" "Pageant judges." Hahaha. "What do you want to be when you grow up?" "A pharmacist. I've always had great respect for them and the good they do for our community." Oh good times.
♥ Our big wii, night games, and food parties at Heidi's house so often when I was in beehives! Those were great times for everyone to just come together and have fun!
♥ Posting the full story about Achilles for Lisa on my blog. Hahaha, that was pretty funny.
♥ Cute Megan bearing her testimony. That really was a great day.
♥ Licking people's elbows. Oh the things we learn at Girls Camp. (:
♥ Heidi letting me be her "Starburst" apprentice. I am still working towards being as good of a starburst roaster as she is!! Because of course, she is oh so humble about it. (;
♥ Along with that, my 3rd year of girls camp, I lit my finger on fire with a starburst. It melted down my finger and was on fire. It burned a giant welted "L" into my finger, and it hurt too bad to deal with without having it in ice. So Heidi stayed up with me all night getting new ice for me to keep my finger in.
♥ Lisa: "Maybe I shouldn't tell you this... but the one thing I watch that I really shouldn't, but I love too much to stop... is The Bachelor!" (Gasp! NO!!! Hahahahaha oh my. (: )
♥ Lisa proposed the idea to have our leadership training on a Saturday morning and for us to all wear our pajamas. So we all show up, basically having just woken up, in our pajamas, while SHE, the one who's idea it was to do so, was all dressed up and ready for the day. Afterwards she said, "That's the way to do it! Then you look better then everybody else!" Ohhhh gosh. (:
♥ Heidi being so afraid of bears. The best story is when they lifted the bear box full of food into the tree and she, thinking it was a bear, screamed, jumped a million feet, and ran behind the men. Hahahahaha.
♥ When the volleyball referee thought Lisa was my mom because I "look just like her!" Now I'm just her daughter and that's how it worked out. (: Haha.
♥ "I don't have favorites, but if I did, it'd be you." "I don't have favorites either, but if I did, it'd be you too!"
♥ Discussing pageants with Lisa. Basically my favorite.
♥ Me: "Slllluffffer! You too good for service or something? ;)" Lisa: "Ya. Pretty much. I've done that service thing before." WHAT?! Hahahaha. Unexpected.
♥ Homemade pizza, breadsticks, and Cafe Rio from Heidi. I'd die happy after eating those delicious things.
♥ Lisa can't spell my name right. Ashley. Everytime. Even though I've corrected her a thousand times. (:
♥ Our way awesome New Beginnings this year. With the Happily Ever After theme, it turned out beautifully. Our leaders put in so much work, but it was just amazing.
♥ Me: "Are you good with giving directions?" Lisa: "I'm good at everything." Really, I have such humble leaders. (;

Wow. Those are a lot of memories. And I'm sure there's many many more. I'm just so grateful for all the good times and that I've been so blessed to have these amazing people as a part of my life for so long.

They make me feel SO good about myself, and they just make me smile!

Megan got to be part of the first dance number along with escorting Ashlie off the stage after her evening gown walk. I was very proud of both of my girls!"

Oh my goodness. I'm crying again. I'm going to miss them so much. They've been such a huge part of my life. I know that won't change.

5K!

Gorgeous picture I know. (: I am by no means a runner. In fact, running is one of the things I hate most in life. Nonetheless. I did a 5k! I even got a legit number and everything! How'd I get sucked into doing it? Baylee. Oh the things I do for my friends. (: Her little love interest asked her to come run the race as a fundraiser for the ROTC, which he goes too. She was going to do it with Aly, but the day of the race, Aly got way sick. And thus, I had to go. Saying I ran it would be a lie. (: We basically speed walked/jogged it. I wasn't planning on running and I'm not in shape at all. We could have gotten a pretty good time had I actually tried, but we still finished in 40 minutes. So we were pretty impressed with ourselves.
Good memories. (:

Side note. While trying to get there, we were supposed to turn left onto the entrance ramp to the freeway. Well, Bay missed the turn and we had to go find somewhere to turn around. So we drove into the Air Force Base, and Bay turned down this road figuring she could turn around somewhere down it. Well we drove past this huge sign saying "DO NOT ENTER. Restricted Zone. Explosives Only." Yeah, how freaky is that? We could have died. Ohhhh the good times Bay and I have. I love that girl!

The Haunted Balloon

I got this ballon on my birthday. For almost three months now, it has hardly ran out of helium. It still floats around. Well, that's not normal. Usually my balloons are dead on the ground within a week at most. And this one has started to creep me out. Everytime I turn around, it's there!!! I'll hit it away and next thing I know, it'll be floating up from the ground right next to my bed. I wake up in the morning, and it's hovering inches from my face. So I took it into the storage room and trapped it between some things. I went into my bathroom to finish getting ready, and when I opened the door, THERE IT WAS! Seriously, it was freaking me out so bad. No matter what I did or where I put it, it always came back. It was like it was a remote control balloon, and someone was playing a mean pratical joke. Today I finally got rid of it. I took some scissors and sliced it right open. Goodbye forever haunted balloon. Good luck coming back now!!!!!

How I'm Feeling.

Basically, I've just been sad. Everything in my life was going so great too! Until Wednesday. I found out that my young women leaders are getting released. I literally just start sobbing. I've been SO blessed to have had the best leaders in the whole entire world. It's just not ok with me that they're getting released. Young Womens is never going to be the same for me, and I'm going to miss them so much! I love all of them, but I've been particulary close with Heidi and Lisa. And they're going to be the hardest for me to lose. They've both always been there for me. Heidi's been in YW's with me since I was a beehive. Lisa's been in since our ward split, and was my mia maid leader for both years. They have watched me grow up.....I have so much fun with them, and a lot of the time, going to church or Wednesday activites was the highlight of my week because of them. It's just going to be really devastating.... It's just hard to understand how amazing they are unless you've had them.... I'll miss them so much. I'm truly grateful for their friendship and the huge impact they've had in my life.

Going shopping for dresses is basically my favorite thing ever. (: Bay and I went shopping together first to get my homecoming dress, and then to go get hers!!! We had so much fun! I love trying on a billion dresses. There are so many pretty ones, I just can't ever decide. The consultant lady just tries to help us pick because we are literally incapable of making decisions. Poor lady. We waste too much time going back and forth between dresses.... That's ok. It's all part of the experience right?!? (: Well anyways, it came down to two for both of us. One of them was more typical homecoming dress that you'd expect us to wear. The others were a little different than anything we'd ever pictured ourselves in. But we picked those anyways! Pictures to come after homecoming next week! (: Which I'm still really excited for. (:

Homecoming!

I. Am. SO. Excited. For. Homecoming!!

Crazy story really how it happened, but I can't even wait.

I am going with Brayden(: Woo! Seriously. Excited. (:

So, story:

Well, this boy named Gus was very much making it seem like he wanted to ask me to homecoming. Everyday he'd ask me if I'd been asked yet. And one day he told me he had decided who he was going to ask. When I asked him who he was going to ask, he told me he couldn't tell me yet, and that I needed to trust him and I'd find out. Well, I started thinking he wanted to ask me, and I kind of was freaking out because I really wanted to go with Brayden. So I texted him and told him what was going on and he told me that he just didn't think it would work out. He didn't think he could get work off on only his second week working there. Well pretty much I was way depressed. I'd been hoping we could go together and it just crushed me to think it wasn't even a possibility.

Three days later, Brayden came and asked if he could talk to me during lunch. He asked me to homecoming! I went from really sad to being on top of the world! I was so excited. He had to ask just straight up because we weren't sure if Gus would ask me, and he needed to be first. (:

Well then... When I got home from school that same day, I was working on homework when I got a text from a number I'd never seen before. It said, "I know you just got a tub of blue ice. Break it open to see what's inside." I ran upstairs and outside where on my porch was just that, a tub of blue ice. I took to the back yard and beat it into the concrete until I got it to break open where inside I found a plastic bag with my name on it. I opened it to find the following note:

"Now that we've broken the ice, will you go to homecoming with me?" - Gus

I started freaking out. I had just gotten asked twice in one day. Within hours of each other. And now I had to say no to Gus. I felt so so terrible! But I just talked to him at school the next day, told him what happened, and told him how sorry I was. He was very nice about it, just telling me he was happy for Brayden and that he hopes I had a good time. It still made me really sad. I almost wish he'd been angry, because then I wouldn't feel as bad as I did when he was so sweet about it! You know what I mean?

So after that was taken care of, I was free to just be extremely excited about going with Brayden. (: And then, this Thursday, I came home from a hair appointment to find this:

Hershey's Kisses covering my stairs, bathroom floor, bedroom floor, and hallway (I have enough chocolate to last a year (: ), Roses on my dresser, roses and roses petals in my shower, and a big poster that said, "Now that I've kissed the ground you walk on, and showered you with roses, will you go to homecoming with me?"

It was a way cute way to ask. And it was from Brayden!!! (: I was so excited!!! It was basically an amazing day. Made me really happy (:

So then I got to answer him! It was way fun, not gonna lie (: I did it in the following way:

"Price of a calendar: $11.95 (I heard cats were your very favorite animal because they're intelligent (; )"

"Price of a coloring book: $2.17 (Because you make me feel like a princess in a fairy-tale (: )

"Price of a picture frame: $1.00 (I really hope our homecoming pictures don't turn out like this! (: )

I had to change it to a toothbrush and toothpaste because the mouthwas was leaking.

"Price of toothbrush and toothpaste: $3.13 (I heard you've been kissing the ground....? (: )

"Price to print a photo: $0.28"

The sign says "But going to Homecoming with you would be priceless! Yes!"

I put all those items and more in a basket, took it to his room and decked it out with streamers and balloons. It was so much fun and just really helped me to be even more excited!

Brady and I went to watch Brayden's lacrosse game! I really am not very good at understanding how lacrosse works...or any sport for that matter... but it was fun anyways. (: My philosphy is to just cheer when Brayden saves the ball from the net, he's the goalie. That's basically all I know. (: It was way fun though, and he did great! (: Go Brayden!! (:

He's my favorite! (: And he did amazing! Best lacrosse player I know (:

March of the Titans!

As a way to earn money for cancer research, our school held a "March of the Titans!" Basically you pay two dollars to register for it and then you spend from 9pm-9am walking around the track. You get pledges for each lap around the track you make. Just kind of a way to give back. Well, I got extra credit in a couple classes to do it, and I thought it'd be fun, so I did it with some of my friends!

So basically, we started walking at 10. It was kind of cold, but definitely dealable. Then Bay had to leave at 11:00 to go to work and Logan left also. Then it was down to Brady, Brayden, Justin, and I.

Well, it started pouring rain. I was soaking wet. Haha it was freezing! But we kept on walking! And around midnight the rain died down. So we walked around and around until about 2 am. I hadn't eaten since lunch and I was starving so Brady was going to leave to get us a pizza! Well apparently she went home to change first and fell asleep in the process. So she never came back. It was awesome.

So Brayden and I just kept walking! It would pour rain on and off and sometimes we'd have to take shelter under a little roof. It was pretty cold. It was way fun though just to spend time with him!! Well, it got to be around 3:30 am and the rain was not letting up. We figured it just wasn't worth it, so we decided we'd just go home. We'd been walking for hours, we were soaking wet, and exhausted. The only problem was I had had to park on the complete other side of the school. I could have walked home faster than it would take me to walk to my car! But Brayden being the amazing boy he is, walked me all the way to my car with an umbrella so I wouldn't get even more wet. It was so sweet of him since his car was so close!!!

But eventually we got there. And my whole body was frozen. So driving home was quite the experience. But then I took a hot shower to kind of defrost. And now I'm really sore.

BUT! It was a really good experience. (: And I had a lot of fun. (: It was a night well spent. (: I'll have those memories forever!

Brady's 16th Birthday!

So Brady's 16th birthday was on Thursday, and Bay and I knew we wanted to do something special! She definitely didn't have a good birthday last year, so we wanted to change that! (:

We wanted to start her day off great, so we made plans to go get doughnuts from Madbrook and take them to her for breakfast! (: We had to get up at 4:30 AM!! But it was totally worth it. We got up, got the doughtnuts (who knew it opened at 5 am?! Not me.), and then went to Smiths to get birthday plates, candles, a lighter, milk, and orange juice. Then we headed to Brady's house. Well the problem was, we didn't ask her mom if it was ok for us to come over at 5:45 in the morning. And we sure didn't want to wake up her whole house, cause they wouldn't have been too happy about that! So we located her window, knelt down by it and started knocking on it, hoping she'd hear it and wake up. She just laid there not waking up and then we realized that the window was open!

We started calling her name, saying happy birthday, and telling her to wake up. Eventually she heard us, sat up, looked at us, said "What?!", and then laid down, covered her head and went back to sleep. Hahahaha it was so funny! She didn't realize what time it was, nor did she care why we were outside her window. Haha. So we told her she had to get up, and when she realized she had slept through her alarm, she got up really quick. She ended up coming outside, where it was still pitch black by the way, and being totally confused asked us what we were doing there. We handed her the plate with her doughtnut on it with candles in it, and I tried to light them while we sang to her, but I don't really know how to work a lighter, they terrify me, so she had to light her own candles! We gave her her orange juice and then went back to Bay's house to give her time to get ready. (:

So then, we went to school, which isn't exactly fun...

Then after school, we planned a little party for her! We invited Justin, Brayden, Logan, and Bri. We just went to the park, ate brownies and cookies, and had her open presents! It was just fun to spend time with her and try to help her have a good birthday. (:
