Brayden's Mission Call.

Brayden got his mission call a few weeks ago, and I'm not really sure why it took me so long to blog about it! It was such an exciting day, and it was fun to guess where he might be going. The day felt like forever to me, I can't even imagine how he was feeling!

 

When it was finally time, he read it in front of a lot of friends and family, and he's going to Sacramento, California! He will report to the Mexico City MTC on July 3rd. And he will be speaking Spanish.

 

This is my blog, so I'm allowed to be honest and say that this was such an emotional day. I'm so excited for him, and I know that he's going to be the best missionary ever. I'm very proud of him, and I wouldn't have it any other way. But man, it really hit me how soon it's coming, and it's going to be so hard to say goodbye.

 

I've got a lot of things to figure out, and I'm just praying that everything turns out ok.

Seriously so depressing to have to leave Vegas. I miss it already. We had a fun drive home though after sleeping in and making ourselves a delicious pancake breakfast.

 

We're sad.

Mostly I just miss the warm weather and lots of sunshine. And the carefree times. And just having fun 24/7 with my best friends. Yep.

Just the best trip in the world. So glad I got to go and have so much fun. A trip I'll never forget. (:

Vegas. Day 4.

Today we went to visit Aria, City Center Mall, and Monte Carlo(: As well as hit up the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, because you can't skip that(:

Then we got ready for a night on the town. We went to see all the shows and then hit up Fremont Street. Fremont Street was the craziest thing I've ever experienced. Wow. So many people, lights, and music. We even got lucky enough to run into a Jana Kramer concert there, so that was awesome. We love her, and she's so talented! It was one of the best parts!

Fremont Street is amazing. They do light shows on the ceiling to different songs, and it's just way cool. It's slightly rated X, so don't take kids there, but it's definitely worth seeing and an awesome place to party hard.
