La Caille!

Wow, let me just tell you that La Caille is one of my new favorite places. It is for sure my favorite resturant!!! I will tell you the whole story from the very beginnning. So this morning at 4:45, Erin woke me up. We then proceeded to do our hair in full on curls! We were dressed EXACTLY the same with no differences whatsoever. We had the same hairstyle, headband, necklace, dress, leggings, shoes, clutch purse, lotion, and lip gloss!!! It was awesome! So after looking amazing we went and survived a whole day at school (constantly spraying our hair with hair spray)! We got on the bus and took a few pictures and then talked with Madame Dean and heard so many of her awesome stories! Then....we got to La Caille! We got out of the bus and toured the GORGEOUS! grounds taking a little over 50 pictures each. (Some of these pictures are located above!) Then, it was time to eat! We were seated at many different tables and were given TONS of silverware and two glasses of beverages one lemonade and one water. We were then served escargots (snails)!!!!! I was nervous about trying it, especially since I was having a hard time getting the snail out of its shell. But when I put it on the bread, I DID! Most people swallowed it in one bite because they were afraid but not me! I spread it out on the bread and ate it slowly! Yep, and I would do it again, it is not that bad! Next we had a pineapple ice cream thing to "cleanse the palet." It was yummy. Next yummy bread with cool shaped butter, and a romain lettuce salad. It was soooooo good!!! Then the main course that I chose was a vegetarian dish. It was really yummy and it was in a really yummy sauce. I am not sure exactly what it was but who cares? It tasted good and that is all that matters! And for the finale, we had desert....banana fosters!!! It was the coolest desert ever!!! The waiters and waitresses brought the ice cream over to our table. Then they placed bananas and carmel in a cool glass thing and put brandy in it (it was cooked out by the fire, don't worry). They then lit it on fire!!!! Soon after, they literally poured the fire into the ice cream and LIT THE GLASS ON FIRE!!! I have a video of it and you all should watch it because it is amazing! (Just FYI the food pictures in the slideshow above are the foods I just described.) Then we had to go because dinner went much longer than expected. We took some more pics on the bus but they were sad ones.... we really didn't want to go. It was depressing to leave. When we got back to the school, we gathered our things and went to get our rides home. My mom was putting my sisters in the bathtub so I had to wait a few extra minutes. Madame Dean was super nice and stayed there with me to wait. While we were waiting, she let me look at all the ADORABLE pictures of her two little boys Porter and Gavin. They were so cute and I can't wait to babysit them!!!! Well, I have probably bored you enough, but it really was something I have been looking forward to for two years. Madame Dean is the most amazing teacher ever to take us, unlike my old French teacher Madame Hoffman. Well, anyways, if you haven't been to La Caille yet, you need to go!!!! I loved it and I hope to go again soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo!

So I am feeling pretty amazing right now! I just finished my piano recital! That was a huge burden off of my shoulders! I have been feeling nervous about it for a long time and I am so glad to have it over with! Next, I am for a fact getting my braces off on June 4th! I am so excited! You can never fully appreciate getting braces off unless you've experienced all of the pain yourself! I can't wait, it will be awesome to have a normal mouth again! Lastly, I get to go to La Caille in only 4 more days!!!! Erin and I have been waiting for this forever! We are going to dress like twins for the occasion! We have the same headband, dress, necklace, leggings, shoes, clutch purse, lotion, and lipgloss. We are also going to style our hair the same way! It will be awesome and we love Madame Dean for taking us! So as you can probably tell, I am in a pretty good mood. Well, other than the fact that I just found out my sister Aubrey stole my gum and lied about it, but some things never change..... Well anyways, I hope everyone is having as good of a day as I am!
