Thanksgiving Break.

I love Thanksgiving Break.
Gives me a chance to get caught up with my life.

And I'm feeling good!

Got to meet Brianna's baby Emily over the break, and I love her! She's more adorable than words can say. Cutest baby.
What a sweet little face!

Got my blood drawn for the first time. Terrible, horrible experience. Four doctors in there having to hold my arm down as I screamed and thrashed around. All to find out that I'm 100% healthy, so there really was no point in me going through that.

And of course, black Friday shopping. We look awesome for 2 AM, but no worries, Bay got her dream laptop after we waited for hours, and then we got some wonderful deals on cute clothes. Best day of the year shopping wise.
Love my friends!

Don't want to go back to school. At all.

Giving Thanks.

Another Thanksgiving already? Wow, crazy. But I love Thanksgiving. Nothing drives me more crazy than when people listen to Christmas music and have Christmas decorations set up when November isn't even half over yet.

No one really takes the time to appreciate or really celebrate the meaning of Thanksgiving.

One of my favorite traditions of November is when everyone says something that they're grateful for on Facebook or Twitter everyday during the month. Reading them really reminds me of the things I am blessed with that I so often forget.

I'm a very blessed girl and I realize that sometimes it can be extremely easy to take things for granted. But I try to think about all the incredible things I'm surround by.

I'm so grateful for my family and friends. I'm grateful for a car to drive to get me where I need to go. I'm grateful for the job that I have. I'm grateful for a warm home to be in to escape the cold weather. I'm grateful for my health and that my body is in good condition. I'm grateful for the chance to be educated. I'm grateful for the gospel, and all that it helps me with in my life. I'm grateful for service - both the chance to give it and the blessing to receive it. I'm grateful for the influences in my life. I'm grateful for talents. I'm grateful for music. I'm grateful for Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I'm grateful for photography and the meaningfulness of photographs. I'm grateful for creativity. I'm grateful for the clothes that I have to wear. I'm grateful for sleep, when I have the chance to get it. I'm grateful for technology and the incredible help it is in my life. I'm grateful for the beauty of nature. I'm grateful for my pets, because they bring me incredible happiness. I'm grateful for the safety I'm  blessed with everyday. I'm grateful for the Young Women's program. I'm grateful for the people who can always make me smile. I'm grateful for patience. I'm grateful for jewelery. I'm grateful for dishwashers and laundry machines. I'm grateful for make-up. I'm grateful to people who are amazing examples for me. I'm grateful for my space heater, because without it, my room would be freezing. I'm grateful for kindness and forgiveness.

And that's just a few things.

I feel like I could go on forever, especially mentioning all the little things that we don't usually think about.

One of my favorite quotes is, "What if you woke up today with only the things that you thanked God for last night?"

Good reminder to be more grateful and express that gratitude more often. I need to work on it, but this holiday is good reminder to do it.

So let's give thanks.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Sadie's 2012.

High school dances are my favorite things in the world. I absolutely love them.

Sadie's was such a party. With the best group and my favorite date, it couldn't have been any better.

For our day date, we had a picture scavenger hunt. This all kinda got thrown together at the last second when our first day date plan fell through, so we were pretty happy with how it turned out.

A few of our pictures from it...

Jumping on a trampoline

Swinging on a swing

Playing an instrument

Riding a bike

Standing on top of a fence

With brown eggs in a refrigerator

Planking on top of a house that doesn't belong to you

With a gun

The boy does the girl's hair

Jumping picture with all four feet off the ground

With a pomegranate

Every color of the rainbow in one picture

Standing at a drive- thru window

With a tractor

With photos from a photobooth

Wearing Mickey ears

Doing a cartwheel (Sorta... Haha.)

10 person pyramid. (This one was ridiculously hard to do. Took us forever to round up that many people.)

Brayden and I took second place with 1,550 points. Kena and Spencer took first with 1,665. So we were way close. Especially since everyone else only got in the 1,100's. Dang. (:

After that , we changed and had a paint fight! With water ballons filled with paint, and little jars of it, we went crazy. It was freezing, and it hurt, but it was so much fun. We haven't laughed so hard in a while! Made for some good pictures and great memories. (:

Cassidy and Austin

Kena and Spencer

Logan and Baylee

Me and Brayden

Brady's date had to leave our day date a little early to go to work, so Logan is standing in for Daniel (:

The girls(:

The boys, minus one

Our fantastic group, literally the best one we could have had.

My best friends(: Love these girls!

Definitely a messy, wet day. (:

After we went home and got ready, we went and got our pictures done (Which I'm dying to see. Can't wait to get those back.) and then headed for dinner. The original plan was to go to Applebee's, but the wait was so long we ended up doing Red Robin instead. (: It was really good! Then we went to the dance, which was literally the best, cutest dance ever.

Our theme was "A Night in Paris," so it couldn't have been more perfect for me - being a France fanatic and all. It was decorated so darlingly. And they had the best food ever. The eclairs put me over the edge, I ate about 20. Haha.
Us with the Eiffel Tower, even though you can't really tell that's what;s behind us. (:

I wish I had pictures of the whole thing, because I was obsessed. One of the best dances ever. We danced and partied hard all night, and then ended the day with watching the new Spiderman at Baylee's house. (Even though I most definitely fell asleep, I was exhausted.)

What a perfect day! So glad to have a best friend like Brayden who makes these dances SO much fun. I'll never forget this dance!

I'll post our pictures when we get them back. (:

Perfect day. (:

State Football Game.

Titan Football this season has been absolutely incredible. We've killed everyone that we've played and had an undefeated season. Even in the semi-finals last week when three of our star players were out, the team managed to pull together to best Bingham. Our football team gives our school a lot of pride, and for good reason. It's amazing to watch everyone come together to cheer them on! Our student section is absolutely crazy.

Well, the championship game didn't go so well. In fact, it was brutal..... I felt like every other team we've played because we lost so bad. But it's ok, because we made it that far. And maybe we would've had a chance if those players hadn't been out. And I'm proud of our football boys, and I'm SO proud to be a Titan. Titan for life.

One of the best parts about the State games is that we get out of school to go watch them at the Rice-Eccles stadium at the University of Utah. I got to go with my friends and we always had so much fun.
(:

Semi-Finals Game:

We got free chocolate milk sunglasses. (:

Me, Taylor, Kena, and Baylee(:

Best friends(:

Wonderful victory. (:

Championship Game:

Riding FrontRunner down to the game with my girls(:

And sulking in our loss at City Creek after for fun and food. (:

I've loved watching these games, and I'm sad that'll be my last high school football game.
But I'm so happy we had such an awesome season. (:
Made it so far, and have a lot to be proud of!

Senior Year - Take One.

Ummmmmmm yeah. Whoever said senior year was a party year lied. Big time.

I don't think I've ever been this stressed ever. About my classes, about my GPA, about my future.

Everything.

Barely survived with my 4.0 this term and it was so hard. I work for it though because I'd hate to see my goal crumble now - in the final stretch. Three more terms.... I'm hoping I can do it.

Math 1050. This class might as well be from the devil himself. So much work, such hard tests, and so much anxiety. If I lose my 4.0, it'll be because of this class.

AP Psych is still a ton of work, but it's so interesting that it's worth it.

Government has been a way cool class to have during an election year - I got lucky in that sense.

Physics and English are just what you'd expect. Boring.

Sociology is really cool too and a really relaxed class, which I definitely need.

Seminary has been wonderful.

Prostart is a fun class as well. Although we  had to fabricate a chicken the other day which I hated more than anything.

Meaning take this chicken and make it edible. Peel the skin off, cut it's organs out, break it's spine inhalf, cut out all the blood spots, and then break it into wings, breasts, legs, and thighs. EW.
I wish it had never happened. Ever.

Thank goodness Baylee was a professional.

Just happy I'm making it through. It's a lot of work, but I'm really proud of myself.
I know it pays off.

Best thing about end of term?
The day off for teachers to do grades.

And what'd we do on this day?

Bought a hamster. What else?

So time to start over. Term two. Life is good.
