Letters...

There really isn't anything more fun than opening the mailbox and finding a letter for you. Not a magazine or a coupon, but an actual letter. Having moved quite a few times, I have a lot of friends who I write letters too. I like writing letters better than texting or email or Facebook or any other technological thing. They're fun, but letters are better.

If you want, go ahead and write me a letter! I don't care if I see you all the time, it's fun anyways. (:

Thanksgiving Break

I absolutely love breaks from school. It gives you a few days to just relax and not be so stressed! It's amazing. This break I got to do a lot of fun things! (:
-Went to a Jazz game
-Went shopping at Rue 21
-Went black Friday shopping at the mall
-Took Front Runner down to Salt Lake to babysit my cute cousins
-Decorated the house for Christmas
-Made lots of Thanksgiving food
-Went out for my mom's birthday dinner
-Watched Letters to Juliet and Enchanted with McKenzie
- Best of all, did absolutely no homework at all! (:

Thanksgiving

Yeah, it's a little late. (: I love Thanksgiving! This Thanksgiving, I went to my Grandma's house as usual, ate myself silly as usual, and visited my Dad's side of the family, as usual. It was a pretty awesome day.

It drives me crazy that people decorate and listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving. It's not right. Thanksgiving gets skipped over so quick because everyone is so excited for Christmas. Now I love Christmas, don't get me wrong, but I think Thanksgiving should be a little more appreciated. Thinking about everything we have makes us happy, and we really need to think about what we do have instead of what we don't have. Not only do we ought to think about it, we need to express it. Each day is a gift, not a right, and we need to remember that and give thanks for it. You never know what tomorrow will bring so thank everyone for everything they do for you as often as you can. I know I don't and I need to work on it. So if you're reading this, I probably owe you a thank you. Anyways, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Memory Lane

As I was moving into my new room, I came across hundreds of old pictures!! It was so fun to look back at old times! Amazing how the memories of things I had forgotten came back vividly as I saw the pictures. I scanned a few into my computer and now I'm posting them! Sorry about the quality of the pictures, they're old.
Me on the beach! I was pretty much adorable. (:

Oh the lovely braces days....

Me being a cute little ballerina!

3rd Grade pictures. I love my extremely crooked teeth!

Being a Princess for Halloween. I've never stopped. (:

Glamour shot.

At a piano recital when I was around 7. Maybe 8?

First year at Girls Camp

I find this picture ironic since I ended up being Miss Syracuse three years after it was taken! Ha ha.

Just me!

Weekend Fun

This weekend was great. On Friday I went to Rue! I had a coupon for $40 off of $80 and I was way excited to use it! I got a lot of cute stuff! Then I went to our school showing of Harry Potter Part 1 at midnight. It was a really good movie and I can't wait until the second part comes out! It dropped off at a terrible ending! I hate cliff hangers! Then today, I officially finished cleaning and organizing my room! I'm so happy. I love my new room. (: Anyways, I am in such a good mood! Helps that next week we only have two days of school!! YES!

Passion.

Yes. I have a passion for piano. It's one of the most incredible things on this entire planet. Seriously. It lets me express myself and set my emotions free. You wouldn't believe how much your mood can change the way you play a song. It's crazy but whenever I'm at piano my teacher makes me think of the saddest things I can think of before I play and it works. There's a lot more emotion and expression in a song when you are sad. Well anyways, I have been playing a lot today and I always record myself so I can listen and fix mistakes. I am going to post a few songs just for my memory but you're welcome to listen. (As long as you ignore the trillions of mistakes. Like I said, still gotta fix those!)

1) Northwoods Toccata - One of my slower, pretty type songs

2) The famous Tarantella - I have played this song thousands of times, yet I can never seem to get it right. This is a shortened version for times sake, but yep! I love this song.

3) Suggestion Diabolique - Hardest song I've ever started learning. This is the first two pages being played at 1/100 of the speed it is supposed to go.

Room Plans

Our basement is literally days from being done! I'm so excited I can't believe it! My bathroom is black and white and I'm hoping to put cute black and white Paris posters in there, being obsessed and everything.
Maybe like these:

And for my room, it's all crown themed. (: Still in love. I'll have to post pictures when I get all done, but I can't wait!

Party Party Party

This weekend I got to go to two Sweet 16 parties! (It makes me really jealous that all of my friends are turning 16 and doing all the fun things that come with that age when I'm not even near 15 1/2 yet!)
First was Mandi's. For her party we just hung out at her house and played a lot of fun games. I made a lot of new friends! It was great.
Then Mikaelas! For her party we all went ice skating. I'm probably the worst skater on planet earth. It was fun anyways. Then her parents catered Olive Garden for us to eat. I absolutely love Olive Garden. I could eat it everyday for my entire life and not get sick of it. Then we watched a movie in her, get this, own house theater. Yeah. Unfair. Her computer screen is bigger than my new TV. Giant. It's pretty awesome. I think I'll move in with her. I love Mikaela, she's amazing!
I had a lot of fun! What a great weekend!! (:

Night of Excellence

Every year we do a Night of Excellence for Young Women's to feature some of the personal progress goals we have completed during the year. This year, I displayed my blog book that I made for my individual worth project. I am very happy with the way it turned out. It was definitely worth the 20+ hours it took to make it. Then, I played Tarantella by Pieczonka for a piano solo. I. Was. So. Nervous. It's weird but I would much rather play for a bunch of strangers than my friends or family. People I know make me really nervous! But I played it.... and it went amazing!!!! I didn't mess up and I played it pretty fast. I've gotten so many compliments about it from others in the ward! It's a good feeling. Lately, I have been getting really into personal progress and I am a little over halfway done! It's exciting!!

♥ Sometimes I take stupid pictures of me. (And random people.)

♥ Sometimes I spend too much time on the computer. (:

Halloween 2010!

Halloween wasn't as fun this year as most. But it was alright! I had fun dressing up as Taylor Swift!

What do you think? (:

And as for pumpkin carving...I had to do that by myself this year! My family carved pumpkins while I was gone so I had to do it on Halloween and take my own pictures!

Lovely picture I know.

Happy Halloween!!
