Boating with Brady!

I love going boating. Love it. Especially with my friends. I invited Brady to come boating with me, and we had an amazing time! My favorite is knee boarding. So amazing. Got some crazy tubing in too, and I'm so sore! But we had a great time, and it was a good break from school over the weekend! I just love my friends. (:

Soccer.

I'm not a sports fan, but I've sure been going to lots of sports games lately seems like! I went to watch Brady in her game the other day, and she did great! She made the varsity team this year, and is even a starter. It was fun to see her play, just extremely hot.....

Good job Brady Ann (:

Football Game - Take 1

Football season is back. Brings with it the excitement of going to all the games. Personally, I just go because I like to hang out with my friends, and have something to do on Friday nights. But they're way fun no matter how you look at it. This time we played Skyline and won. Go Titans!

Back to School: Junior Year Edition.

Can't believe how fast summer flew by. Not excited one single bit about that concept. Being back to the stress, rush, and schedule of school life isn't fun. Not a lot you can do about it though right? So far, I think I've had a pretty good schedule.

I have three classes with Baylee, one class with Brady and Brayden, and one class with Kenzie. But I do have at least people I know and can talk to in most of them. I hate that high school is so big you never get classes with your friends.

I've loved being able to drive to school this year. Makes me so happy. I don't have to walk home carrying my 20 pounds of books anymore!

It's already been a lot of work, but I know I'll manage to get through it. Really, I just have to take it one day at a time. And figure out how to balance school, piano, online classes, and hopefully this job I just interviewed for. It'll be tricky to say the least, but I'm confident I can do it.

Also, excited for the fun junior year will bring. I'm finally old enough to go to dances! I can't even wait. And I love the football games, and all other sorts of fun events that high school brings.

Basically, I'm just hoping for a good, successful, fun year. Is that too much to ask?! (:

Davis County Fair Baby Contest

As the first attendant to Miss Davis County Outstanding Teen, I got to judge the Baby Contest at the Davis County Fair!! (: I was so excited to do it and it was so much fun!! I judged with Jaylen Hernandez, second attendant to Miss Syracuse, and Kennedy Wilkes, first attendant to Miss Davis County. We had a great time, but it was so hard! There were so many cute kids in every single division! One time we only had two, and that was great, but in every other division we had 20+ kids! It was awesome! Hard decisions had to be made since we had to pick a top three winners for every division. Seriously, all the kids were darling! But we had to do it! I thought some of the moms were going to kill me.... They weren't happy at all if their kid didn't place... but there were so many! I felt bad sometimes, because I'd never want to make any kids feel bad, but I did what I had to do! The divisions were:
-0-6 month boys
-0-6 month girls
-6-12 month boys
-6-12 month girls
-1-2 year boys
-1 year girls
-2 year girls
- Baby Crawling Derby
- 3-5 year boys
-3-5 year girls
-Twins
It was a great experience. Being a judge is a lot of fun. (:

Feeling official (:

Being Creative

I love Picnik. (:

Summer is Coming to an End

Which is seriously not ok with me I might add. It feels like summer is just beginning! But instead of having three wonderful months to enjoy, I have like 4 days. Great. I'm not ready for all the stress it brings with it. I'm really not. But let's forget about that and think about really enjoying these last few days.

Things I've been doing?
Cherry Hill with Bay!! (:

Stake Dance with Brady! (:

Picture War with Meg!

Cherry Hill with Kenzie! (: (Yeah I kinda love that place if you couldn't tell!)

Going to Brinley's wedding reception!! She looked beautiful. I'm so happy for her!!!

Taking weird pictures of myself

And of course, driving a lot (: (: I love being 16 (:

I hope you've enjoyed your summer as much as I've loved mine!

Girls Camp 2011

Every year we get to girls camp and I think to myself, "Has it already been a whole year?" I will be the first one to admit that girls camp really isn't my favorite thing. I'm not one to deal with sharing a bathroom with 120 other girls. Or sleeping on hard wood. Or getting eaten alive by bugs. Or the crazy extremes in weather. But I go every year anyways. Well this year turned out better than most have. I think I owe it to being a YCL. I loved that I didn't have to do certification. Major bonus. I was over the first year girls, and for the most part I liked it. Of course we had our trouble girls, but we managed to work through that and have fun.

At least a plus side is going to Heber Valley camp. I would really prefer to sleep in cabins over tents.

I was with Jordann Jones and Skyelie Kimber in my cabin and it was really fun to get to know these girls (:

Our amphitheater

I got to mess around with Linda's Pentax camera. It was a way nice camera and she had some incredible lenses. It was way fun.

The challenge course was like the highlight of camp. It was so much fun!! It was basically like team building exercises. But it was fun. (: Emalee and I were the only team in our group to make it across the wires together. It was pretty cool. The biggest part of the challenge course was the high wire and zip line! You had to climb up a really high pole, walk across a wire only holding on to ropes, and then zip line off of it. I had  no problem getting up and across. It really didn't scare me like it did for some of the girls. My problem was jumping off for the zip line part of it! I didn't feel comfortable just jumping off the super high platform! All the things that might go wrong were running through my head. But in the end, I jumped, and then it was way fun. I loved it (:

We got to canoe out on the lake which was pretty fun (:

Crazy Hair Night!

My incredible leaders, Heidi and Lisa. Who always happen to get caught with bunny ears right when I take their picture (: Ha ha, gotta love Joyce. (:

Skit night... I don't mind watching the other wards' skits, but I hate being in them.

Lisa and I (: She just so happened to oh so lovingly braid my hair for me while we were up there. Ha ha it was quite the experience, but actually turned out really cool (:

Spending time with my awesome ward

It was also really fun to have cute Lyndsey up there with us for the first time. Since I was over the first years, I got to spend a lot of time with her. Love that girl (:

I know that girls camp definitely doesn't plan itself! So grateful to all of the people that put the time, work, and energy into planning it for us! They really are amazing!

I love my leaders and my ward. We had a pretty good time. (:
