High School

I am officially a high school student now. It honestly doesn't excite me or anything because it's just another year of school but I think I like going to Syracuse High better than going to Syracuse Junior. The high school is so much more laid back than the Junior High and I think that's nice. They finally treat us like we are adults. Bring food to class if you take care of your own garbage, you can have your iPod as long as you pay attention, and basically you can wear whatever you want. I like that way better than the uptight Junior High! I mean seriously. It's going to be a challenging year though. I am taking Honors English and that's going to involve a lot. I am also taking a concurrent enrollment class even though I am not getting college credit for it. It's ok though because it's Interior Design and it's going to be way fun. Too bad you can't get college credit as a sophmore. It's nice to live so close to the school because it doesn't take me long to walk there. The downside is that there are so many people! I don't have any classes with my friends!! Hopefully I'll make some new ones because I don't like being alone! But yep! That's pretty much high school for me. I like most of my teachers so I'm happy. (:

Taylor Swift..?

I have had countless people tell me I look like Taylor Swift! It's getting to be crazy! Actually, I have even had a few people think I actually was Taylor Swift. I personally don't see it but I am starting to question it. So what do you think? Am I a Taylor look alike? Well, you know if I wasn't wearing pageant make up and I had smiled without my teeth like she did.......? Maybe.

Summer is over...

I can't believe it has been three months already! But then again, looking back on things I did, like the pageant or visiting Erin, it feel like it has been forever! Anyways, I am sort of excited to go to high school but not really. It's not that I'm nervous, but I mean it's school. Doesn't matter the building it's in to me! Hopefully it'll be a good, non-stressful year. I'll miss lounging around, being lazy, and doing what I want when I want. Well, smile because it happened right? I'll try.....

♥ Went to the Miss Davis County Pageant!

Super fun.

Oh and is it just me, or do those of you who watch Pretty Little Liars think that this contestant looks like Alison?

♥ Watched the season finale of Pretty Little Liars!

All I have to say is WHY?!?! Why does it have to end on such a cliff hanger with no set date to come back!?!? I think I'm going to die of suspense! I need that fourth book!

♥ Tried out for the High School Volleyball team...even though I didn't make it!

It was was a good experience and I learned a lot!

♥ Went to a district foreign language thing where I got to talk to Madame Dean!!!

She is my favorite teacher ever! It was awesome to see her!!

♥ Finally got my hands on a copy of The Hunger Games!

Say YES to the Dress!

I guess I have been watching a little too much Say Yes to the Dress because I have been thinking about wedding dresses a lot! Seriously, I know what I want my dress to look like. And I'm going to show you! (Before I do, let me just say I understand I'll have to do some alterations to make them modest. But ignore that part for now. :)

Ummm, definitely not it. It is a mermaid style dress so it is super tight and form fitting until it extends out a little at the ankles. No. Just no. It's your wedding! Be a Princess like.....

I don't like plain dresses like this! I want all the bling, beading, and dramatic I can get in a dress! For example....

This! Rhinestone beading accents, and brooches! To die for! This one is a Pnina Tornai. I love this designer. She makes the most gorgeous gowns! Ah!

Ok....this one looks like a nightgown. Why choose that?! No make it a wedding dress! Not something you could confuse with an old comforter! Try something more like.....

this. Gorgeous yet elegant. I wouldn't mistake this beautiful wedding gown for a night gown!

Pretty but not overpowering.

Loving the dramatic photography right? But seriously, LOVE this dress. Pnina Tornai my friends. Just saying.

This one isn't my favorite but still really pretty. Not loving the gold thing either. I am going to wear white on my wedding day. Hello? It's a wedding.

Yet another Pnina Tornai. I love the flowers in th bottom and on the one shoulder. Just amazing when you use the design principles and balance the dresses' design features!

Just Need to Get This Out.....

Dear Hair of Mine,
I realize that I burn you, color you, and rip you out while I brush you but you do realize that it's your fault. I mean, you could grow naturally straight! Takes care of the straightening every day! You could grow in a pretty color instead of the nasty dirt color that you choose to grow in! Takes care of the color damage! And you could do your best not to get so tangled! Then maybe you and my brush could get along! If you're kind to me, I'll be kind back. I do love you after I work on you for so long but it would be nice if maybe you could do your part a little.

Thought Connections!

1) Guess what fabulous movie I saw with Katie on opening night?! CHARLIE ST. CLOUD!!!!!

 Phonomenal movie. Really. I loved it. I almost cried like four times. And the best part was, there was a totally expected ha ha nope unexpected part!!! I hate it when movies are predictable! It makes them less fun to watch! But anyways, I had a great time with Katie! Then at the mall after we had a lot of fun trying on dresses at the new and loveable store........

2) Head over Heels!

I was so happy to find out that they put this store in our mall! They sell everything from jeans to heels, from dresses to jackets! And everything is way cute. There was a particularly cute shirt that from there that I recieved at......

3) My birthday party!

We had so much fun! Thanks to Baylee, Britney, McKenzie, and Katie for coming! We went swimming at Surf N Swim, ate delicious scones, fries, and cheesefries, watched How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days with popcorn, and went to.....

4) Cold Stone!

Cold Stone is my favorite place EVER! I just absolutely adore it! Their Cake Batter is unbeatable. Fabulous. Amazing. Creamy. Perfect. Delicious.
