Prom 2012!

I can't even tell you how perfect and amazing prom was. It was just undescribably amazing. I had the best day of my whole life! I've just never been that happy(: I was the luckiest girl at the dance. (: Had the best date ever(: So happy I got to go with Brayden(:

For our day date, we first went to the park(: Lacrosse, basketball, and even a boomerang, all of which I'm horrible at, but Brayden puts up with me anyways(:
Then we went to Get Air. It's a trampoline park and it is huge and super cool. They had tons of trampolines and even foam pits to jump into! It was a blast jumping around, and doing tricks. (:

My mom is in California, so Whitnie had to take our picture. That's why it's super blurry, but this is us before our day date (:

After that, we went home to get ready. Lisa came over to be my mother for the day so I could have help with my dress and pictures!

So then we headed off to Landon's house, because we just needed to meet there for dinner, or so I thought. We were almost there when we passed a limo. We commented on how cool it was and then Brayden drove right past it. I thought nothing of it. Then he turned the car around and informed me that the limo was for us! A stretch hummer limo. My jaw dropped to the floor. I was in SHOCK.

It was absolutely gorgeous! Neon ceiling lights, floor lights, little drink bars, amazing sound system, and it was huge. My boy spoiled me. A lot. I still can't believe it. We felt way too cool riding in it! (: Our driver even drove off the road! There was a lot of traffic on the freeway on the way home from Salt Lake, so he just drove down the down of the road and down to a different street. It was totally illegal and way awesome(: Coolest experience ever. (: People were even taking pictures of it as we drove by! It was like we were celebrities!

We went to Corbins for dinner. It was a beautiful resturant. We sat next to this gorgeous glass waterfall, and it was lovely. (: Brayden and I got the same chicken pasta dish, and it was super yummy. (: Way nice resturant, goodness sakes. (: He's too sweet.

After that we went to Union Station in Ogden for pictures (Which I'm dying to see(: ), then went and partied it up at the dance at the Gateway in Union Station. It was amazing and perfect and wonderful... Ah. We love dancing. (:

Then we went to Landon's house after for pizza and ice cream. Brayden "drank my water to me" and ended up basically pouring it all over me(: Ha ha ha it was hilarious. (:

Lastly, when he dropped me off, we had our own last dance to our favorite song(: It couldn't have been more perfect(:

I'm such a lucky girl. I'm never going to forget this day. Ever.

The Hunger Games.

I have been waiting for this movie to come out for like, forever. I absolutely loved this book and I was just dying to see how they would change it. Went on a date with Brayden to the midnight premiere, along with Kenzie and Colton. It was amazing and just way too much fun. (:

Kenzie and I waited for 8 hours, sometimes taking shifts. We had sparkling black cherry water, and starbursts for snacks. At 7, I went to Brayden's band concert and then brought him to the movie with me afterwards. We waited and waited and waited. For what felt like forever.

Brayden tried to read the book before midnight. He only got to page 30. (:
Colton played on my iPad and was very entertained. Good thing I brought that.
The movie finally started and it was perfect. (: So incredible. It freaked me out a few times....I'm surprised I didn't break Brayden's hand, poor boy! But it was amazing. We had a super fun time. Love these people, loved this movie.

Junior Year - Take Three

Boy oh boy. This year is flying by so fast, I can't even keep up with it.

Term three? Hardest term of the year. So many things going on, I just could barely believe it.

There were so many nights I stayed up later than ever, getting like 3 hours of sleep a night because of work, and just felt like I couldn't do it anymore.

Was a 4.0 really worth it?

Well. It was.

My 15th in a row. I only have to do it five more times before I reach my goal of maintaing a 4.0 cumulative GPA. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I really think I can do it! (:

This term, math has literally been the worst. I want precalculus out of my life. Like right now. SO. Hard. I have had to put endless hours into it just to understand it so I could pass the test.

My absolute favorite class in this whole world? Yoga. Oh my word. It's so perfect for me right now. It helps me to relax and get my mind off of things. It's helped me become stronger and more flexible. I love love love it. Best gym credit I could have asked for. And I'm not complaining about the 20 minutes of shavasana (relaxation....so basically sleeping) we do either. Makes my day.

College Interior Design is WORLDS harder than Interior Design was. There is so much information just to memorize, I can't even wrap my brain around it. I'm lucky to have a great teacher who I really like, and I'll put all the time into it that I need too. Why? Because I love it.

School's kind of taking over my life. I miss having time to sit and play the piano. I miss it a lot. But I know in the end, working hard and achieving my goals will be worth it.

I love high school. It's so much fun, I never want it to end! (:

What's New.

I feel like I haven't blogged forever! It's crazy. I miss it. I miss summer and freedom and doing whatever I want and having no responsibility. But, I have none of those things right now. Anyways, what I've been doing lately:

1- Got a Twitter. Not sure what I'm thinking of it at this point. Had one last year, but deleted it because really, I had no idea what I was doing. Trying it again, who knows what I'll do. All I know is it makes me want to hash tag everything! #SuperAddicted (Exhibit A) Between Facebook, blogging, Pinterest, and now Twitter, I am probably spending way too much time online. Working on it.

2- We got a new hamster!!! He's precious!

3- Officially obsessed with Draw Something. It's ridiculous. I have like 10 games going right now.

4- Loving this gorgeous weather lately!!! Little taste of summer(:

5- My cousins Cole and Mason got here this weekend and are staying here for a week! They are 4 and 1 and it's going to be an adventure! It's been forever since we've had little kids in my house!

6- Brayden surprised me with a rose after work(: He's way too sweet(: Made my day! #HeMakesMeSmile (Exhibit C)

7- I live in the basement by myself. At 2 AM, I happened to notice that the storage room light was on. I went to go turn it off, and when I turned the corner, there was a man standing in there. I screamed my little head off  and fell on the ground, only to realize afterwards that it was Whitnie's cardboard cut-out of Justin Bieber. I was not happy.

Kenzie's Sweet Sixteen.

Kenzie's party was last Saturday. It was crazy awesome. Her mom is basically the coolest ever. Kenz had no idea what the theme was or anything about it, it was like a half-surprise party! But it was a Hollywood theme party!! We all wore prom dresses and met at the church. We were then driven in nice cars to her house where we got out of the car one by one and walked the red carpet! They had paparrazi taking pictures of us and we were being videotaped and displayed through a projector on this huge screen! Then we went inside where it was decorated beautifully to have dinner and such things. During the award ceremony, I got the award for most photogenic. I'm just so touched. (:

Way fun night!

A Very Hard Week.

This has been a very hard and emotional week for the high school students in Davis School District. Two boys, Tanner and Sam, committed suicide. I didn't know Tanner, but when I heard the news, I was devestated for his family and friends. Sam and I though, were always good friends, and I have so many amazing memories of him throughout our time in school together. I was heartbroken when I heard what happened. Seeing my closest friends be torn up inside made the hurt even worse. Tonight I went to Sam's viewing. There were many, many tears shed as I looked at his belongings, and saw him for the last time on this earth. I was touched by the strength of his parents, who despite the tragedy, were mananging to stay positive and loving towards everyone that was there. It was amazing how many people were there supporting his family and showing their love for Sam. I could feel the spirit so strongly as I walked into the room with the casket. I'm grateful for the plan of salvation and knowing that we will see Sam again. Everything is going to be ok.

These stories have really taught me so much. I know that we should never judge other people, because no one can ever truly understand what a person is going through or what is happening in their minds. Each and every one of us is of great value to our Heavenly Father and we need to treat each other that way. We shouldn't ever let anything stop us from reaching out and being kind to people. I know this is something that everyone, myself included, needs to work on and going through this has inspired me to do so.

I'm grateful for the chance I had to know Sam and for the example he was to me. I'm sending prayers to the families of these two young men.
