I'd recommend them (:

Photoshoot.
I won a photoshoot with Masterpiece Images from Ken Garff Keys to Success! It was a great time, and I got some great pictures out of it!(:
Summer Fun.
The best part of summer is swimming right?(: Brady and I went to Roy Pool and had a blast.
Of course when you consider it's the first time of the year my skin is seeing that much sun, there were some serious consequences. We got so burnt. It hurt. Bad.
The next day, all we did was eat frozen foods, watch Woman in Black, and smother ourselves in Aloe Vera. Big time, that stuff saved us, even though we were still pretty miserable.
The pain's got now, and I have a little color to me, so I'm feeling good about it all now(:
Also went shopping at City Creek with Bay! I'd never been before but I'm officially in love. I'd actually like to live there. It's just simply fantastic. ♥
Spent a ton of money and had a blast, even with the minor incidents of getting totally lost and parking issues.
We ate at Kneaders and it was probably the best choice we made that day. Delicious sandwiches and frozen hot chocolate. Literally my favorite.
Funniest part? (: After trying on some clothes, Baylee was putting her outfit back on and zipped her shirt into her skirt. I tried to unjam it, pulling on it for like 20 minutes, but it was totally stuck! We even ripped the shirt in our efforts but never got it out. So she walked around City Creek with her zipper almost all the way down the rest of the day. SO hysterical. (:
I seriously love summer.
Brayden's Birthday!
Brayden just turned 17!(: I love birthdays!(: I was able to spend his birthday with him this year and it was just so much fun! (:
First I had the plan to go kidnap him and take him to breakfast. I was all excited to wake him up and even had silly string for the occasion. I got to his house at 7:40 and went up to his room, but he was sitting up, already awake. Totally ruined that plan! Ha ha(: Who's up that early in the summer?! Certainly not me. (: But it works. (: Took him to breakfast in his pajamas, we had a good time. (:

Then took him back to his house so he could get ready for the day, but then my car died in his driveway. Totally dead, wouldn't even make a noise. I was parked behind his car, so he had to do some seriously skilled driving to get his car backed out, turned around, and then pulled in backwards so our cars could be nose to nose. He jumped it for me, and I drove it home quickly before it died again, so that was an adventure. (:
After that little incident, we got to go to Lagoon! It was so much fun to be there with him, definitely the perfect day!
White Roller Coaster(:
Music Maker?? Can't remember what it's called(:
Sky Ride(:
And the Ferris Wheel, which we loved (: And that I have an obsession with photographing.
After Lagoon, we went back to his house to watch Elf. Yeah it's June, but it's his birthday and he loves it so whatever!(:
I struggled trying to decide what to get him, boys are literally the hardest people to shop for, but ended up going with a personalized lacrosse ball and display case with his name and number on them. It turned out really cool and I think he liked it!(:

Girls Camp.
Yeah, so I am going to be honest here and admit that I dread girls camp every year. I'm not one to deal with bugs, heat, hiking, and not being able to sleep in my own bed. So, suffice to say, I'm glad it's over(:
But we definitely did have some good times, and some good memories were made!
It was hard for me to be without my old leaders, they have just always been a part of my girls camp! Things just weren't the same without Heidi and Lisa. I missed them most especially!
This year we stayed in a cabin in Heber, right next to Heber Valley! It was a nice place to stay, and only two nights - bonus.
We had a great time, and some great spiritual moments. I won't forget this year, and I'm glad to have gotten to know the girls and the leaders so much better. Yay girls camp(: Glad I went, glad it's done(:

Started out with the adventure of my YW President's awning blowing off her trailer. We pulled over on the freeway and chased it down. Good start, right?
Then an assembly line to get all of our things inside(:
Spent a lot of time braiding our hair, eating super good food (We always get the best!), playing card games during free time, and just looking ridiculously attractive of course.
We played Swedish Twister. The best.
We made some super cute crafts(:
Did some ridiculous skits
And went on a brutal five mile hike.
We have some good inside jokes now for sure.
On our hike, we were given an egg representing our virtue. We were supposed to hold onto it the entire time, and not let it drop. The leaders tried to take it from us, and we were tempted by knowing if we gave up our egg, we could ride in the truck, and not have to hike any more. I'm proud to say I'm one of the few that made it the whole way with my egg intact. (:
However, when one of my leaders was describing this experience to the Bishopric, she told him the egg represented our virginity. Not virtue.... Hahahahahahaha. She tried to justify it by saying it was basically the same thing and completely interchangeable.
This led to our theme becoming, "as we strive to live the young women values which are faith, divine nature, individual worth, knowledge, choice and accountability, good works, integrity, and virginity."
Hahahaha, saying the Theme in Young Women's today was hysterical, we couldn't stop laughing. (:
Oh man.
As my mom put it:
Just a few of the many lessons learned from girls camp:
1. An unnatural love of frogs can be very expensive
2. Give Kristie Thorne Taylor an egg and it Will be destroyed
3. Some very tough girls are actually very emotional (cough, cough, Madison Brophy)
4. Certain words, though similar in meaning, should NOT be used in place of each other (Becky Morrill) :)
... 5. Do not get on Shaylie Paige Hoggan's bad side...she WILL hurt you :)
6. McKenzie Butler is terrified of growing up
7. Thre REAL reason Trevor fell in love with April Bennett Hales
8. What happens at girls camp, MUST stay at girls camp
